Project leader for the pre-project application (project number 228363), which was granted. A workshop was held May 6th - May 8th 2013 in Tromsø.

 

• Co-managing the research project “Long-range memory in Earth’s climate response and the implications for future global warming“. The project is funded by the NRC (project number 229754-E10). A workshop was held September 28th - October 1st 2014 in Tromsø.

LEDERSHIP EXPERIENCE

• Leader of a project in market risk analysis, which was partly financed by Sparebank-1 Nord-Norge and the Norwegian Research Council. It includes a PhD student, which I supervised. I have also taken the initiative to a new study program in Mathematics and Finance at the University of Tromsø. This new program has lead to collaboration between the Tromsø Business School and the Department of Mathematics and Statistics.

 

• Co-managing the research project “Long-range memory in Earth’s climate response and the implications for future global warming“. The project is funded by the NRC (project number 229754-E10).

 

• Leading a scientific team in writing a proposal for the Norwegian Research Council’s program “Adaptation to unknown territory: potential and limitations of observation-based projections”. • Leader and coach of a group of high-level athletes (sprinters) in Tromsø 2003-2011. The team has won several Norwegian Championships and qualified for international events.
